NG (natural gas) and NGL (natural gas liquids) are fluids used in numerous applications. The NG and the NGL, ethane, are cooled to cryogenic temperatures and become liquids for economical shipping and storage. LNG (liquid natural gas) is used in vessel fuel bunkering, at fueling stations for on-highway and off-highway vehicles, and for peak shaving at power plants and pipeline systems when energy demand is high. Dixon’s product mix includes dry disconnects, brass couplings and safety break-aways for bulk cryogenic transfers, dry gas couplings, and hose couplings with adapters for fluids at ambient temperatures.
